(November 8, 2000) - Portal Software, Inc.(NASDAQ: PRSF), a leading provider of business infrastructure software for Internet and next-generation communications services, announced today that BroadLink Communications has selected InfranetĀ®, Portal's customer management and billing platform. BroadLink provides low cost, high-speed Wireless Internet access to homes and businesses through its Internet Service Provider (ISP) partners using advanced fixed-wireless technology.
With Portal's flexible Infranet platform, BroadLink will be able to support the wide array of features and applications it offers to extend the functionality of corporate communications and networking resources for remote offices and workers. In addition, Infranet will enable BroadLink to offer differentiated service and pricing packages to a variety of customer segments, as well as manage customer accounts and collect money.
